Was born in Derventa, B&H, in 1958 and is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, Sarajevo. He lives and works in Celje, Slovenia.
The practice of painting covered with the patina of bygone eras and overgrown with the ivy of certain classical spiritualism become a lever of a repeated an most probably eternal self-examination about the artist's mission, status of works of art and the power of their declared context, especially under the conditions of the post-modernistic state of society.
His brilliant sfumatto painted view of the Horizon of remote landscape marked by vertical silhouettes of stone pines reminds us of the paintings of the 15th and the beginning of the 16th Century. However, his paintings are drawn to a mysterious symbolism of the north through a sinister premonition which is articulately reflected by images. There is no room for a human figure in an Arcadianlike celestial, cool and insensitive landscape. The key of images can be found in the enigmatic presence of imaginative architecture of tower filled with a clear message from a Freudian arsenal of bearers of archetype symbolism.
